Research the types and purposes of reports in your workplace or field of interest.
Develop a report for a specific purpose or to meet a specific need.
Incorporate peer and instructor feedback into your revised assignment.
Examples of workplace reports include, but are not limited to:
Corporate accounting: a project report (3–4 pages).
Advertising: a formal client report (10–12 pages).
IT: project report (4–5 pages).
Marketing: formal competitive analysis report (6–8 pages).
Health care: patient aftercare report (3–4 pages).
Written communication: Writing should be free of errors that detract from the overall message.
APA formatting: Resources and citations are formatted according to APA style and formatting.
Length of paper: This will vary depending on the type of report you choose to write for a specific purpose. Refer to the page ranges in the examples above.
