Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009) in Gary, Indiana, U. S. was an American singer. He was the 7th of nine children in the family. He went Gardner Elementary School in California 1969 to study, then he was home schooled. By the early 1960s, his brother had begun performing around the city; by 1964, Michael and Marlon had joined in the band called The Jackson 5.
In his life, he had contributed to music, dance, and fashion, along with a much-publicized personal life, made him a global figure in popular culture for many year. It is best remembered for Jackson’s solo performance of “Billie Jean” which gave him his first Emmy nomination. In the show, he performed “The Moonwalk” that made his famous in his carrer and show.
Beside his carrer he had time for other things. Michael liked to read books. He had more than 10,000 books in his Neverland library. He enjoyed helping other people especially ill children because he didn’t have a normal childhood. He gave more than 500 million dollars to more than 40 charities with different causes.
